So on the blog I wanted to share a shoot I recently went on. I got to photograph a set of lovely twins, Amrit and Sian. I first met them over a year ago as even smaller two-year-olds. They were super cute little girls and had such contradicting personalities. Amrit arrived and was very shy, she was curious to start and stayed close to her mum. Sian, on the other hand, didn’t sit still she explored my studio space and settled in straight away.

As children’s photographer, I think you have to gel well with the children to get the best out of them. Sian didn’t fuss about my camera and me snapping away, so my attention was to build my relationship with Amrit. Saying that, I didn’t leave Sian to get on with it, I felt more like Sian was in control of me, she was happy to tell me what she wanted to do.

The twins mum contacted me to have an outdoor session but the weather was so bad that on the day we had to change it to a last minute studio session. I was so happy when Pardip contacted me again a year later to book in with me for the girls 3rd birthday. This time, the weather was perfect and we decided to hold the session at Evington Park, which was the girl’s favourite place to play in Leicester.

When I arrived their mum had packed a selection of pretty little outfits, I was happy to try and get the girls in all in the outfits because they looked stunning. The effort their mum had gone to for the session, I was had to make sure I worked hard to give her some pretty pictures of her beautiful girls. Goes without saying that Pardip was over the moon with how they turned out.

Also, when I got to meet the girls again, they had changed so much, they had changed roles too 🙂 Amrit was very friendly, I think she remembered me 🙂 Sian was more on guard to start with, but as you can see from the photos we all worked together to get some lovely shots. so much fun in there’s images 🙂 ENJOY xxxx
