So on the blog today I just had to feature the lovely, Mia! She was the most stunning little pea nut ever! I have chosen my favourites from her session! she rocked every set up i put together for her session! My rustic pallet labour of love, is the signature backdrop I use in all my sessions. I creates a muted backdrop that lets baby mia stand out and take the centre stage in her portraits!

I have chosen to go with classic pastel pinks , they really work well with her beautiful skin tone. I also put together a setup of blues that worked well while Mia was having some awake time. I used some wild flowers in this set up to create some texture in the image too! I love the vintage layers that are used under the bowl to soften the blues and make this image so pretty! Mia was so happy and chilled and looked straight into the camera for this shot! I just loved her!

I this image I wanted to create a more natural relaxed set up! Mia was happily snoozing in this image so i wrapped her in a lovely caramel coloured wrap and exposed her cute toes, im this portrait she is wearing a lovely head band and as you can see i take the time to make sure all the set ups flow lovely! My images are all about baby but the props and set up are chosen like if i was going to create a painting. There’s different elements to the final piece but Mia is truly the work of art in this portrait.

Finally I wanted to share with you another signature style of lux photography, the cream backdrop, I love the dreamy, light and fresh feeling a cream backdrop creates. I think it’s a great canvas that is timeless looking and you can add colour that compliments baby. It would look lovely in any room you want to display your portraits. Mia looks so lovely and girly in this image! I could see this image as a large print in her nursery!

Well thats it for Mia’s baby blog 🙂 She was a pleasure to photograph
